About Us: We’re a remote-first development team building high-performance, SEO-focused websites and AI tools. Our tech stack leans on strong opinions — but we're always open to better ones, especially when they improve performance and simplify complexity.
Project Overview: Our current setup uses a headless WordPress backend paired with a Next.js frontend. It functions — but behind the scenes, performance and stability issues are slowing us down.
We’re currently experiencing: API call bottlenecks Inconsistent caching behavior Page hydration/render issues General slowness during build and runtime
We’re looking for someone who can not only identify these issues, but: Diagnose root causes Explain what needs improvement Recommend smarter architectural patterns Ship a working fix or improvement prototype
This is a standalone technical task with the potential to grow into a long-term development role if there’s a good fit.
Requirements: Proven experience with hybrid stacks (e.g. Next.js + headless CMS) Strong debugging and performance optimization skills Ability to communicate trade-offs and technical decisions clearly Willingness to document findings and solutions Comfortable working independently and asynchronously
How to Apply Please send a brief proposal describing how you’d approach analyzing and improving a stack like ours. What would you assess first, and how would you go about diagnosing it? If it sounds like a match, we’ll follow up with a short technical form.
Why Join Us Real technical challenges with immediate impact Quick, thoughtful feedback loops Remote, async-friendly team Long-term opportunities for developers who thrive on autonomy and clarity
