Expected duration: 3 - 4 weeks We’re looking for an experienced English → Spanish translator to translate a 50,000-word non-fiction book aimed at parents of children with ADHD.
This is a published, professional book written in a warm, accessible, supportive tone, and the translation needs to feel natural, culturally sensitive, and parent-friendly, not literal or overly academic.
ABOUT THE BOOK
- Non-fiction parenting book - Topic: raising and supporting children with ADHD - Audience: parents and caregivers - Tone: clear, compassionate, practical, and empowering - Length: approx. 50,000 words
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Native or near-native Spanish speaker - Proven experience translating non-fiction books - Excellent command of written English - Ability to maintain tone, clarity, and emotional nuance - Comfortable working with sensitive and supportive subject matter - Strong attention to consistency and terminology
DELIVERABLES
- Full English → Spanish translation - Clean, well-formatted text suitable for publishing - Consistent terminology throughout (ADHD-related language is important)
