We are looking for an experienced Islamic geometric pattern designer / illustrator to collaborate on a visual project on an hourly (people-per-hour) basis.
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of classical Islamic geometric design principles, including pattern construction based on geometric grids, repeating tessellations, seamless pattern systems, and precise use of symmetry (radial, rotational, and reflective). A solid understanding of proportional systems derived from circles, stars, polygons, and interlaced line structures is essential.
The work requires a high level of precision, structural consistency, and clean, well-defined line work. The ability to deliver scalable, well-organized vector files is preferred. The designer should be comfortable creating non-figurative, mathematically coherent patterns rooted in traditional Islamic art, while adapting them to a contemporary context.
Please include relevant portfolio examples demonstrating Islamic geometric or architectural pattern design.

The artist may display the completed work in their portfolio or for self-promotional purposes only. The work may not be resold, reused, licensed, or distributed to third parties without the client’s prior written consent.
