My name is Cecily Roynon-Jones, and I’m in the early development stage of creating a lingerie-inspired sports bra for a small clothing line. I’m new to garment and bra design, so I’m looking for a freelance designer or technical pattern maker who can guide me through prototyping. The bra concept includes:
A moulded cup (plant-based / sugarcane-derived – supplier sample pending) A supportive inner layer (e.g. bamboo + elastane) to hold the cup A decorative outer layer (lace or lingerie-style detailing) for a non-traditional sports bra look Adjustable straps, comfortable for light–medium activity At this stage, I’m looking for someone who can: Advise on bra construction and layered pattern development Help create the first working prototype Give insight on feasibility, materials, and technical details Guide me through early-stage design decisions
