I need a custom WordPress plugin that lets me run simple, admin-defined ballots where members can pick multiple options on each page (for example “choose up to 4 on this screen” or “choose 1 here”). How it needs to work • In the back-end I upload an Excel file that contains the authorised voter list. It will hold each member’s number, email and phone. No other data is coming from that spreadsheet—just the credentials used for verification. • On the front-end the voter enters those three fields. The plugin checks the spreadsheet, confirms the combination is valid and then unlocks the ballot. • The voter can submit their choices once. After a successful vote the same member number/email/phone trio must be rejected on any further attempt. • All ballots, counts and verification logs should live in the WordPress database so I can export results later. Admin features I need – Upload/replace the Excel file at any time. – Create multiple ballots and set the exact maximum selections for each. – View real-time vote counts and a list of who has already voted. Deliverables 1. Installable WordPress plugin (PHP, MySQL, WP-DB, ideally using native settings API). 2. Clean, responsive voting form styled with standard WP classes. 3. Secure one-time voting logic tied to member number + email + phone. 4. Simple results export (CSV or Excel). 5. Brief setup guide.
