Description: We are seeking an experienced SEO advertiser to help rapidly improve the search engine ranking of our new UK-based planning submissions platform. The goal is to position the site prominently for targeted keywords related to planning applications, planning permission, and the architectural/building industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive keyword research (short-tail and long-tail) relevant to planning permission, planning applications, architects, and homeowners.
Develop and execute a strategic SEO plan to achieve page one rankings for key search terms.
Create or guide content creation for blog posts, landing pages, and supporting site copy to improve topical authority.
Implement off-page SEO strategies, including link building from high-authority, industry-relevant sources.
Monitor rankings, traffic, and conversions, and provide regular progress reports with actionable insights.
Requirements:
Proven track record of delivering strong SEO results for UK-based websites.
Excellent understanding of both on-page and off-page SEO.
Experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush/Ahrefs or similar tools.
Ability to identify and target niche opportunities within the planning and construction sector.
Strong communication skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
