I need a one off project - a data scraper for all UK councils.
The tool should have the following functionality
Keyword search: ability to input upto 20 keywords into the tool to search for planning proposals which include that keyword - e.g. "plant", "anaerobic", "biomethane", "waste", "development", "solar", "renewable" etc.
Date range: ability to search between date X and Y for all planning proposals submitted within that period
Council portals to search - ability to choose 1, some or all planning councils in the UK
Documents download toggle box: ability to download (or not) all files submitted with application
The tool should then output all available data, e.g.
Application Number: Status: District Parish: Address: Ward 1: Easting Northing: Proposal: Applicant: Applicant's Address: Date Received: Date Valid: Press Notice Date: Agent: Site Notice Date Decision Date: Agreed Extension of Time Date: -
Documents submitted Document Count First document submitted date Last document submitted date Document downloads (if documents were chosen to be downloaded)
