CAD Planning Designer Needed to Amend Existing Plans for Second Storey Extension (Planning Submission)
Description: I’m looking for an experienced CAD planning designer or architectural technician to amend my existing house plans to include a second-storey extension above an existing single-storey side extension.
The goal is to produce updated planning drawings that are ready for submission to the local council. I already have full existing plans (in PDF) that just need to be edited — no full redraw required.
Scope of Work: Amend existing CAD plans to reflect a proposed second-storey addition
Update floor plans, elevations, and any relevant sections
Ensure drawings are suitable for planning approval (UK-based project)
Provide final files in both PDF and editable format (DWG or similar)
(Optional) Add basic site plan or location plan if required for submission
Ideal Candidate: Skilled in architectural drafting and planning submissions
Proficient in AutoCAD or similar software
Familiar with UK residential planning requirements
Able to work from existing PDFs or CAD files
