Expected duration: 1 - 6 months We’re looking for a **designer with strong front-end web development skills** to help craft the visual and interactive layer of our custom display platform. This role involves close collaboration with artists, developers, and the client to prototype and deliver an experience that is both visually striking and technically robust.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing UI/UX for a large-scale interactive display. - Building front-end components in our lightweight, custom HTML+JavaScript framework - Designing dynamic, procedural layouts and responsive interactions without relying on large component libraries or frameworks. - Contributing to a lightweight, in-house content management system.
**We’re looking for someone who has:**
- Strong 2D design skills oriented toward screen-based and interactive contexts. - Proficiency in front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). - Experience creating complete, production-ready interfaces—not just mockups. - Comfort designing and implementing procedural or data-driven layouts. - A willingness to work without heavy frameworks like React or Vue.
**Bonus points for experience with:**
- WebGL and Three.js for interactive 3D graphics. - Shader programming (GLSL in particular). - Python and Flask for lightweight backend development. - Designing for large, touch-driven displays in public spaces. - Museums, exhibitions, or other new-media cultural projects
