We are seeking professional Medical Reviewers to validate translated medical content that has been translated from English into Chinese (Hong Kong) language for a medical insurance company. The materials cover a wide range of medical topics, including but not limited to Myocardial infarction, Heart failure, Hypertension, Diabetes, Kidney disease, Asthma, Depression and anxiety and Mental well-being. The goal is to ensure that the translated content is accurate, culturally appropriate, and medically sound for the target audience.
Key Responsibilities: • Review and validate translated medical content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to medical standards. • Collaborate with linguists and project teams to address any discrepancies or issues. • Sign off on reviewed content and provide a review certificate. • Work within strict deadlines to ensure timely delivery of validated content.
Requirements: • Proven experience in the medical field (e.g., MD, RN, PharmD, or equivalent). • Strong knowledge of general medical topics, including cardiology, endocrinology, nephrology, and mental health. • Native or near-native fluency in the target language and proficiency in English (US) to understand the source content. • Prior experience in medical translation, review, or localization is highly preferred. • Ability to identify and correct errors in medical terminology, grammar, and context. • Understanding of cultural nuances and healthcare practices relevant to the target audience.
