I seek an experienced web professional to consolidate my online presence. Currently, I have a self-designed WordPress site containing original content and a domain registered through a registrar. This domain is linked to a basic hosting plan on Squarespace, which also manages my email. While both platforms serve my purposes individually, it has become inconvenient to maintain accounts and content across separate locations.
Therefore, I require the services of a skilled web developer who can expertly migrate my WordPress site content, template, plugins, and database to the hosting server connected to my domain. All current functionality and design aspects must be preserved through this technical transition. Additional objectives include integrating my email account currently on Squarespace into the migrated WordPress installation, and ensuring no broken links or loss of search engine visibility occurs as a result of the platform transfer.
The successful candidate will have a proven record of safely moving websites between content management systems and servers. Proficiency in WordPress, comfort accessing cPanel/FTP, and experience optimizing site speed and security are essential. Communication during the project stages and thorough testing prior to launch will be appreciated. Once complete, the new unified site should load quickly, look exactly as intended, and be easy to update going forward from the WordPress dashboard.
