I'm looking for a skilled web developer to complete the development of my WordPress website, with a primary focus on fixing an issue with the leaderboard functionality. Currently, score submissions are not displaying in the correct order—for example, the quickest times should be at the top, and the highest repetitions should be ranked correctly.
The leaderboard has already been built by another developer, so this project requires reviewing the existing code, identifying the sorting issue, and making the necessary adjustments to ensure scores are ranked properly.
Key Requirements: Debug and fix the leaderboard sorting issue (ensure fastest times and highest scores appear at the top as intended). Work with the existing code rather than rebuilding the leaderboard from scratch. Ensure leaderboard updates dynamically with new submissions. Potential additional website tweaks (such as minor design changes).
Technical Aspects: The website is built on WordPress, so experience with WordPress development is essential. The leaderboard may use PHP, MySQL, JavaScript/jQuery, or a WordPress plugin—you’ll need to inspect the existing setup. Familiarity with database queries and sorting functions (e.g., ORDER BY in SQL or sorting arrays in PHP/JavaScript). Ability to work with custom WordPress themes or plugins if applicable.
