Proofreading & Editing - The primary focus is correcting grammar and spelling mistakes. Improve flow and readability. - Familiarity with the MLA or APA style guide is essential, as this is the style guide to be used for the proofreading process.
Cover Design - The cover needs to be visually engaging and appropriate for a scientific book, yet accessible to a wider audience. - Previous experience designing covers for books, especially scientific ones, will be a plus.
Skills & Experience - Strong command of English language for proofreading and editing tasks. - Experience with the MLA style guide. - Demonstrated ability in book cover design. - Prior work on scientific publications will be highly regarded.
