We are a busy couple in our fifties with three children and a dog. Two of our kids are older and fairly independent, our youngest is 14 yrs old.
We run a boutique and successful branding and design business in London which is fulfilling but also quite demanding, making it difficult to strike a good balance between work and life, and generally stay on top of things.
Some of the issues that have arisen from being 'spread too thin' include:
Late payment of personal tax incurring penalties and interest.
Unused subscriptions for software and entertainment services going unnoticed adding to our cost of living.
Not tracking rental income owed to us, building up substantial arrears which we are unlikely to recover.
Overlooking important and urgent emails and other comms, missing deadlines.
Lack of consistency and routine in work and life management.
Household repairs going unattended to and becoming more costly and significant in the long run.
Anticipated tasks (with the help of ChatGPT):
Calendar Management: Organise and update our personal and professional calendars, scheduling appointments, meetings, and family commitments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of both business and household finances, including tracking expenses, preparing invoices, and managing budgets.
Email Management: Sort, organise, and respond to emails, prioritising communication to ensure timely responses to critical messages.
Travel Arrangements: Plan and book travel, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries for business trips, family vacations, or client meetings.
Meeting Preparation: Prepare materials for meetings, such as agendas, presentations, and reports, ensuring that all necessary information is readily available.
Payment and Bill Management: Handle the timely payment of bills and invoices, both for the business and the household, to avoid late fees and maintain good credit standings.

We're really looking for someone who 'has our back' and proactively supports us with managing our business and household.
We anticipate this will be a part time role of 2-3 hours per week to include a weekly 30 min 'check in'
