Our podcast, the Business Growth Architect Show, is streamed via RSS feed from Buzzsprout, delivering insightful discussions, expert interviews, and actionable strategies to our audience. As we clean up our video presence on YouTube we are looking for someone with video and YouTube experience.
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented YouTube Channel Optimization Specialist to join our team on an hourly basis. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing our YouTube channel to drive growth and engagement. This freelance position requires approximately 2-3 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
We have three YouTube channels and our growth has been stagnant. We will shut down one channel and build up a new channel.
You will analyze the performance of previous content that still relates to our audience so that we can identify successful videos for re-upload and consolidation in the new channel.
These videos need to be reviewed and descriptions and hashtags need to be reviewed.
Evaluate competitor channels to determine effective hashtags, keywords, and content strategies.
Conduct consistent research to identify trending topics and content opportunities relevant to our audience based on competitors YouTube video views.
We use a Canva template to create visually appealing thumbnails to increase click-through rates and engagement.
Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics and YouTube Studio to track channel performance and provide actionable insights.
Set up and organize playlists to enhance user experience and maximize viewer retention.
Collaborate closely with our team to optimize video descriptions and metadata for SEO.
Implement end screens and suggested next videos to improve viewer engagement and retention.
Create and assist in the integration of chapters to enhance the viewing experience of our content.
Additional Responsibilities:
In addition to the audio podcast we have the video format of the podcast as well.
We have a video editor but if you know how to use Minvo and Veed for the creation of shorts that would be a huge plus.
We use shorts and long form content.
Requirements:
Proven experience in YouTube channel management and optimization.
Strong understanding of YouTube analytics, SEO best practices, and content optimization strategies.
Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Google Analytics, and YouTube Studio. Minvo and Veed a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Creative mindset with a passion for content creation and audience engagement.
