BRIEF We are seeking a skilled graphic designer to collaborate with us on refining our existing brand and creating essential assets. This role involves tweaking our current business logo to better reflect our company's values and vision, as well as crafting a basic level of brand identity and guidelines that incorporate the updated logo, along with key brand assets to create consistency across all externally facing brand elements such as social media, website, and email banners.
Informed by a comprehensive brand identity brief that has already been developed, you will work closely with our team to translate our brand essence into compelling visual elements. This includes ensuring consistency across all assets and effectively communicating our brand's voice and tone.
BRAND WORK
Brand Guidelines Logo • Full logo: Logo image locked up with the company name. • Secondary logo: For use in situations when the full one is unnecessary or will not fit. This may need 2 variations, portrait and landscape. • Social media logos: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube.
Colour Palette • Primary and secondary colours. • Specify the hex code, CMYK, and RGB.
Typography • 2-3 typefaces required, including web styles. • Appropriate size, spacing, and weight. • The font family must represent the brand.
Iconography • Social media icons. • Mobile app buttons. • Other TBC Identify the Voice and Tone • General notes on identity voice and tone should be reflected with an understanding of the intended audience and the purpose of the communication.
Other Assets Required • Business card design. • Letterhead. • Email banner. • Social media banners and logos. • Logos and graphics. • Website assets.
Responsibilities 1. Modify and refine the existing business logo to align with our company's values and vision. 2. Develop a foundational level of brand identity and guidelines that incorporate the updated logo, ensuring consistency across all visual assets. 3. Design business cards, letterheads, email banners, social media banners and logos, logos, graphics, and website assets consistent with the established brand identity.
Requirements • Proven experience in logo design and modification, demonstrating the ability to understand and enhance existing designs. • Strong skills in brand identity creation, with a keen eye for maintaining brand consistency and coherence. • Proficiency in graphic design principles and tools, including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
