Expected duration: Ongoing We require a part-time / full-time Content Marketing Specialist for a Health & Wellness Platform. Project fee stated will be the monthly rate paid for this position.
Roles and Responsibilities: • Responsible for writing, editing and refining digital copy for a variety of platforms including blogs, website and social media • Work with Founder and Editor to ideate and define content goals. • Researching content and consumer trends to ensure that content is relevant and appealing. • Designing content strategies to effectively reach our target audience and marketing goals • Deliver strong, engaging content to clients that is consistent across all media platforms • Collaborating with other departments and/or agencies to produce high quality content • Revise and optimise dated content using information gathered in SEO research • Ensuring that SEO and SMO strategies are effectively implemented • Managing content calendars • Analyse web metrics, tracking consumer and content analytics, and generate reports and presentations • Sharing content on social media and via email to boost brand awareness and engage our audience • Keeping up to date with content trends and advancements in technology
Requirements: • A portfolio of published work. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Good knowledge of various content platforms such as social media, blogs and print media. • Possesses good strategic, analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrates experience and expertise in writing, editing, proof-reading marketing and communications materials. • Creative, meticulous, and resourceful, with an innate passion to drive innovation and brand growth. • Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal and Joomla. • Strong understanding of content practices such as SEO, SMO and PPC • Knowledge of content and layout design tools such as Canva, Adobe InCopy and InDesign would be a plus • Results-oriented, diligent and a collaborative team member who is able to concurrently manage several projects with multiple stakeholders within tight timelines.
