I need a js script that has been tested with WordPress and visual composer to append parameters to a url when someone lands on our site.
Unfortunatly I cannot share the site right so we just need a js script that is tested and we can ass ourselves. Estimate 2 hrs work.
People will land on our landing pages with some parameters in the URL. eg:
For example: https://xxxxx/?utm_source=Crumlin&utm_medium=Crumlinsite&utm_campaign=CrumlinQuote
There are only three values: utm_source utm_medium utm_campaign
The parmeters inside teh values will be different depending on the link the user clicked to bring to site
What we have to do is:
Make sure that whenever somebody lands onto the website with these values in the URL, all the values get saved against their session (jQuery can do this)
When you save these values, you can always load them again on another page.
Make sure that all the CTAs, like get a quote buttons on the landing pages and some on the homepage, will get these values appended to them, so they are passed to a 3rd party system.
So probably some jQuery document ready script that will load and append the values to the links.
