Expected duration: Ongoing I need an experienced software dev/architect to support the development of a new application and back end (cloud) architecture. The solution will be a subscription based model offering a suite of services starting at a free tier, cloud-based (with integrations to other providers) and an on-premise 'enterprise' tier. Obviously, a key design requirement is to make the service as 'sticky' as possible to attract and RETAIN users.
Intent is to create a minimum viable product for launch and then run sprints to implement new features regularly.
The app must incorporate a browser based front-end and UI, with back-end app/database that scales as follows:
* 1-3 users, free tier, web based with all back end functionality hosted in cloud systems and secure. * 4+ users with pricing scaling based on functionality on a per-per month basis, current thinking is that this will also be a cloud-back end but would offer integrations to Office365 (ideally with Azure AD connectivity supported), Salesforce and Google Docs. * Enterprise option, potentially with on-premise server options (Enterprise is NOT a day one requirement).
I also want to offer a mobile app that's accessible on some (if not ALL) tiers and hooked into the cloud/on-premise servers.
Back end app/database structure will need to enable management dashboards (ultimately to offer a level of configurability and export to report options to include spreadsheet and PDF output.
Stage one (i.e. this project) is to work with me to design the architecture and develop the high level roadmap. Reliablility and security of the platform will be key requirements - must be OWASP and GDPR compliant as will hold personal data.
