The aim of our project is to study the technical benefits of Energy storage system (ESS) to be used with charging stations. The implementation of ESS to support the power grid due to the high number of charging stations should be considered in current and future scenarios. An algorithm for ESS design and operation should be developed that takes into account the operation of charging stations. The results of the algorithm should be able to compare the potential pros and crons of charging station with ESS implementation in the distribution power network when compared to the Charging station without ESS. The study has to cover the following points 1. Battery selection which i already selected (LiNMC) 2. Development of an algorithm for ESS design and operation 3. Implementation of an algorithm on the test network for current and future scenarios 4. Comparison of at least two energy storage technologies with charging station without ESS 5. Documentation of the results
You will do it on MATLAB and simulation is mandatory for the battery charge and discharge operation. MILP will be use to solve this problem.
I have a load model in which i already designed all the requirements means node to node voltages, current, apparent power, R, X, C etc, you can use the excel file and import it in the matlab code, everything related to load flow is done, you can implement this idea for me. Regards
